Driver or Passenger Seat Back Cushion Frame Replacement

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Remove the front bucket seat. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket .
  2. Remove the seat back panel. Refer to Driver or Passenger Seat Back Cushion Finish Panel Replacement .
  3. Remove the seat back cover and pad. Refer to Driver or Passenger Seat Back Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement .
1 Seat Lumbar Support Rivet
Tip:  Drill out the rivet to remove the lumbar actuator and install new rivets to replace.
2 Seat Lumbar Support Assembly
Tip: 
  1. Disconnect the electrical connector.
  2. Detach the seat back frame wire from the top of the lumbar.
  3. Detach the seat back frame wire from the bottom of the lumbar.
3 Seat Back Recliner Cover (Qty: 2)
Tip:  Cut the zip ties off each cover to remove.
4 Seat Back Frame Bolt (Qty: 4)
CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tighten:  25 N.m (18 lb ft)
