ISSUE
While attempting to complete the "Update ECU" application within the Telematic Control Module (TCU), the routine finishes with the message: "Telematics Control Unit Module [TCU] is already at the latest software level. No update required ".
When PATHFINDER returns to the main screen, the TCU still shows the software under the "Current version " column as not updated, compared with "Latest version " column.
NOTE:
PATHFINDER will update the module only up to the level 14.2. When the module reaches this level, PATHFINDER will show the message "TCU3 SOTA Update is available through TOPIx
". In this case the module must be updated via SOTA and this bulletin WILL NOT apply,
CAUSE
PATHFINDER fails to identify the next available assembly for this module.
PERMANENT CORRECTIVE ACTION
This concern has been resolved with the release of PATHFINDER version 304. The manual patch will no longer be available to download and this SSM will be deleted in 7 days.
