ISSUE

The customer reports a coolant leak from the engine compartment which is found to originate from the thermostat housing seam.

CAUSE

Multiple process improvements have been implemented at the supplier to mitigate the likelihood of this complaint.

ACTION

It is possible the thermostat may suffer consequential damage during a severe overheat event. Investigate and repair any other possible causes of an overheat condition that may exist on the vehicle.
