SERVICE INFORMATION

Symptom  000101 Diagnostic Concerns

ISSUE

When programming the Infotainment Master Controller (IMC) on the above vehicles using PATHFINDER, it may be noticed that although the programming routine completes successfully, the following message is displayed at the end of the application before returning to the ECU summary page;

'Replacing of ECU IMC_X351_2016_00_V16_T12_L405_Y2017 is not possible because of an error'. 

CAUSE

The cause of this message being displayed is currently under investigation by engineering.

ACTION

The message is being displayed incorrectly and the programming routine has completed successfully.

Once the infotainment system has been tested for correct functionality, there will be no further actions required.

Technicians - Please rate this SSM and provide comments so that future communications can be improved.
