ISSUE

Content 

Lower control arm bush appears different from those previously fitted.

CAUSE

Land Rover engineering have released an updated hydrabush which supersedes the solid elastomer bush detailed in LTB00573.

ACTION

If for any reason there is a requirement to change an old level elastomer bush (example 2 in attachment) then both sides must be replaced with the latest level hydrabush available through Microcat (example 1).

PART NUMBERS

New level Hydrabush:

Arms with bushes only available: LR072471 and LR072469. The bush then has "SPLA-3069-AG" moulded into the rubber as per the attachment.

Old Level Elastomer bush:

Arms with bushes: LR055129 and LR055130

Bush only: LR058161. Bush has "CPLA-3069-BA" moulded into the rubber as per the attachment.

Technicians - Please rate this SSM and provide comments so that future communications can be improved.
