ISSUE

Content 

Land Rover Dealers/Customers may report that the Hood/Bonnet 'Open' Messsage Is illiminated In the Instrument Pack even though the Hood/Bonnet Is closed

CAUSE

There Is a potential that an Internal Spring could become dislodged

ACTION

Should a customer or Dealer report the above concern then you are asked to please view the attached presentation on how to move the Hood/Bonnet latch Spring back into position which will then enable the switch to operate normally.

Please use SRO 76.16.21 for this repair
