CONDITION SUMMARY

Situation:  A customer may express a concern that the climate control blower cuts out during operation.

Cause:  When the climate control is on maximum or if the blower motor is manually put to maximum, there is potential for the motor to hit the upper limit for current and it will then cut out. This can be reset by either cycling the ignition or by cycling the climate control off and on manually. The fault is intermittent because it is highly dependent on the state of charge of the battery and the inputs to the system, it is rare for the motor to hit the upper limit of current. Suggested Customer Concern Code CF1  .

Action:  Should a customer express this concern, follow the Service Instruction below.
