CONDITION SUMMARY
SITUATION:
A rattling noise can be heard coming from under the vehicle. Investigation has determined that the rattle is coming from the engine undershield.
CAUSE:
Star washer relaxation.
ACTION:
Follow the instructions below.

SERVICE INSTRUCTION
- Remove the engine undershield (see TOPIx Workshop Manual section 501-02: Front End Body Panels - Removal and Installation - Engine Undershield).
Remove and discard the 6 star washers.
Install the 6 new nuts.
- Torque: 3 Nm
- Install the engine undershield (see TOPIx Workshop Manual section 501-02: Front End Body Panels - Removal and Installation - Engine Undershield).
