ISSUE

JLR is investigating customers reporting unstable idle speed or idle rpm higher

than expected with DTC P0507-00 logged in Powertrain Control Module (PCM). MIL may also be illuminated on US and China specification vehicles.

CAUSE

Positive Crankcase Ventilation breather membranes failing from a combination of mechanical stress and chemical attack from blow by gases.

ACTION -

Please do not  order the full breather cover assembly (LR164405), please order the Lower-Level Repair Kit (LR166809) and follow TOPIX section 303-08-General Procedures - Positive Crankcase Ventilation System - Repair
