CAUSE

- Intermittent Quiescent Drain
- Faulty Battery
- Module Software

ACTION
Following cross-carline investigations of patterns and trends no clear root cause has been established to date. (See exception below). Therefore a comprehensive test plan has been developed to methodically evaluate vehicles with flat batteries.

Flat Battery Diagnostics can be found in section 414: Battery and Charging System. The sub-chapter will vary depending on vehicle line .
For L560 Range Rover Velar please also reference SSM 74159 "Vehicle parked with the doors unlocked experiencing intermittent battery quiescent drain".
