Symptom 000101 Diagnostic Concerns
ISSUE
When using PATHFINDER to establish communications to the Gate Way Module (GWM), PATHFINDER may display an error message on screen - "Error during PreFlashCCF for CCF master", which prevents the following applications completing successfully:
- Add and Remove Accessories
- GWM Software Update
CAUSE
Windows Firewall rules are preventing the vehicle module communications from communicating with PATHFINDER and the DOIP VCI
ACTION
- Select the Windows key
- Select Control Panel
- Select System and Security
- Select Windows Firewall
- On the left column, select Advanced Settings
- Select Inbound Rules
- Locate 'jlr-ngs' in the Inbound Rules list.
- If any of the 'jlr-ngs' rules display a No Entry symbol complete the actions in step 8.
- If all of the 'jlr-ngs 'rules display a green tick symbol then no action will be required.
- Select the first 'jlr-ngs' rule that displays a No Entry symbol and right mouse click and select properties.
- A jlr-ngs properties box will be displayed.
- Make sure that Enabled check box is ticked.
- Make sure the 'Allow the connection 'check box is selected.
- Select the' Apply' button.
- Select the 'OK' button.
- Select the next 'jlr-ngs' rule that displays a No Entry symbol and right mouse click and select properties.
- Repeat steps 9 to 14 until all 'jlr-ngs' rules display a green tick symbol.
If the action detailed above does not resolve this concern you should submit a Technical Assistance Request to your Local Technical Support.
