Mechanically-Driven A/C Compressor, Removing And Installing At Bracket, 4-Cylinder Engine: Removing
-- If necessary, remove the front noise insulation. Refer to NOISE INSULATION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING / OVERVIEW - NOISE INSULATION .
-- On a vehicle with an air guide hose: loosen the hose clamps -1 and 2- and remove the air guide hose.
-- After removing the air guide hose, close the open lines and connections with clean plugs from the :VAS6122 .
-- Remove the ribbed belt. Refer to RIBBED BELT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING [CNSB, CNTC, CYFB] / RIBBED BELT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING [CRUA, DEJA]
-- Disconnect the connector -2- from the A/C Compressor Regulator Valve -N280-.
-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and remove the A/C compressor -1-.
CAUTION:
Risk Of Damaging The Refrigerant Lines And Hoses.
- Do not bend, twist or stretch the refrigerant lines and hoses.
-- Hang the A/C compressor on the lock carrier with wire.
