Belt Pulley, Removing And Installing, DENSO A/C Compressor: Removing
-- Remove the ribbed belt. Refer to RIBBED BELT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING [CNSB, CNTC, CYFB] / RIBBED BELT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING [CRUA, DEJA] .
-- Remove the sealing cap -1-.
-- Remove the bolts -arrows- by counter-holding the belt pulley with an oil filter band wrench.
-- Remove the nut -2- by counter-holding on the input shaft -1- of the A/C compressor.
-- Remove the drive plate -3- with the nut.
The torque to drive the A/C compressor is transferred to the drive plate via the threaded connection.
If, while the A/C compressor is working, the drive plate was attached to the A/C compressor shaft so tight, that it cannot be loosened (the 7 mm wrench cannot transmit the necessary torque) then the A/C compressor must be replaced.
-- Remove the circlip -2-.
-- Remove the belt pulley -1-.
