Sealing Flange With Sensor Wheel, Removing
- The transmission is removed.
-- Remove the flywheel. Refer to FLYWHEEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove the intermediate plate -1- from the alignment sleeves -A arrows-.
-- Guide the intermediate plate upward. While doing so, remove the retaining tab -arrow B- from the opening behind the sealing flange -2-.
-- Turn the crankshaft at the toothed belt sprocket bolt until the crankshaft is at "TDC" as shown.
- The hole -2- on the sensor wheel -3- is positioned opposite the ridge -1- on the sealing flange.
-- Remove the oil pan. Refer to OVERVIEW - OIL PAN/OIL PUMP .
-- Remove the Engine Speed Sensor -G28-. Refer to Engine Speed Sensor -G28-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove the bolts -arrows- for the sealing flange -1-.
-- Alternately turn each of the three M6 x 35 bolts -arrows- 1 /2 turn maximum into the sealing flange.
-- Remove the sealing flange together with the sensor wheel.
