Engine Coolant Fan Shroud Replacement (LH9)

Preliminary Procedure

  1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill)  or Cooling System Draining and Filling (Vac-N-Fill) .
  2. Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement .
  3. Unclip the lower section of the shroud assembly from the upper shroud for removal.
  4. Remove the radiator inlet hose. Refer to Radiator Inlet Hose Replacement (LLR)  or Radiator Inlet Hose Replacement (LH9) .
  5. Remove the radiator outlet hose retainers.
  6. Remove the a/c line retainers and reposition.
