  3. Verify vehicle battery voltage and ensure stable supply (use charged battery or diagnostic power supply if required).
  4. Inspect physical connections between head unit, CAS, tuner and gateway; reseat connectors and repair any damaged wiring/grounds.
  5. Check software/firmware levels against OEM specifications. If mismatched or flagged by manufacturer, re-flash or update modules per OEM procedure.
  6. If software update does not clear the code, check secure storage (EEPROM/flash) for corruption. Follow OEM procedures for key/certificate restore or re-provisioning.
  7. If a module was recently replaced or cloned, perform required pairing/coding/security initialization using OEM diagnostic tools.
  8. Clear codes and retest. If intermittent, use extended road test or extended logging to confirm stability.
  9. If diagnostics indicate hardware failure of CAS or secure element, replace the faulty module and perform security reprogramming/re-pairing as required by the manufacturer.
  10. After repair, confirm no recurrence of B147C and verify proper video playback and module communications.
