If wiring is open, trace the harness from the handle into the door and into the body harness using continuity testing; repair or replace damaged sections and protect against pinching at door hinge areas.

If wiring and connectors are good but signal is still not present at the module, verify module input using wiring diagrams and test for continuity to the module pin; consider module replacement only after wiring verified.
