  6. If VIN/coding is missing or incorrect, attempt to reapply correct coding via manufacturer scan tool following published procedures.
  7. If coding reapply fails or programming was interrupted, attempt a controlled reflash/reprogram of BCM software using OEM tool; follow battery voltage and tool instructions.
  8. Monitor CAN bus traffic during reprogramming to ensure stable communication; repair wiring faults if bus errors present.
  9. After successful coding/reflash, clear DTCs and test affected functions and inter-module communication.
