  6. Back-probe sensor connector and verify reference voltage and signal voltage with key ON and during system operation; compare to factory values
  7. If sensor wiring and supply are good, test pressure at return line with an appropriate hydraulic pressure gauge while system is operating; compare to specified return pressure
  8. If return pressure is abnormal and sensor reading is correct, isolate and test components (pump, valve block, accumulator, filter) per service manual
  9. Replace only confirmed faulty parts (sensor, hose, valve block, pump) and clear codes
  10. Road test under the same conditions that produced the fault and re-scan to ensure code does not return
