Causes

  9. If wiring and heater element pass tests but control output never provides expected voltage/current when commanded, suspect ECU driver fault—verify with manufacturer procedures before replacing ECU.
  10. After repairs, clear codes and perform functional test and road/operational test in conditions similar to freeze-frame to confirm repair.
