- If the module is present but sending invalid data, attempt software/firmware reflash or update per OEM service procedure. Clear codes and recheck.
- If the module fails to respond correctly after wiring and software checks, replace the remote function/BCM module following OEM replacement and programming procedures.
- After any repair, clear codes and perform a full system test to confirm the fault does not return.
