  3. Verify battery voltage and perform a battery/charging system test. Recharge or replace battery if voltage is low.

  7. Attempt to clear the code and cycle ignition/operate vehicle systems. Monitor whether the code returns and capture live bus traffic during the test.
  8. If code persists after wiring/power/ground and confirmed tool/software checks, consider reflashing the module per factory procedure. Do not replace the module before verifying software and network integrity.
  9. If reflashing fails or communication is lost, perform continuity/resistance checks on power and ground circuits, and verify CAN/LIN wiring integrity with an oscilloscope if available.
  10. If intermittent network errors continue and wiring is good, consult manufacturer technical support or consider module replacement as a last step after confirming software and wiring are good.
