  5. With a known controlled load (or during normal regen/drive), compare sensor output vs independent high-voltage clamp meter reading of pack current. Look for offset, nonlinearity, or missing response.
  6. Check continuity and resistance of wiring between sensor and BMS/ECU; repair any opens/shorts. Pay attention to shielding and twisted pairs if present.
  7. If wiring and supply are good but output is out-of-range or inconsistent, replace the current sensor assembly per OEM procedures.
  8. After repair, clear codes and perform charge/discharge cycles or required calibration procedure for the BMS (some vehicles require sensor re-calibration/programming).
  9. Verify correct operation under load and confirm no reoccurrence of the DTC.
