  6. Check supply voltage and ground at the connector during activation; repair any low-voltage or poor-ground issues.
  7. Wiggle test harness while monitoring live data for intermittent faults. Repair broken wires or poor crimps.
  8. If wiring/resistor/voltage checks good but data still incompatible, swap with a known-good identical solenoid (if available) to confirm solenoid vs module.
  9. Inspect related hydraulic circuits and fluid condition; replace fluid/filter if contaminated and repeat tests.
  10. If fault persists and vehicle wiring & solenoid verified good, consider TCM/module fault — verify programming/calibration and replace only as last step following OEM procedures.
  11. Clear codes and perform road test under the same conditions to confirm repair.
