Verify battery state of charge and 12V system health. Charge or support battery to required levels before attempting programming.
Inspect physical CAN/communication wiring, grounds and connectors for corrosion, damage, or loose pins on BECM C and gateway.
Query other modules for related incompatibility or communication faults (U0100, U0401, etc.). If widespread, troubleshoot the gateway/CAN backbone first.
If software versions differ or are known-bad, obtain correct manufacturer software/calibration and reflash BECM C per service procedure, including proper security access and reboots.
If a reflash fails repeatedly or module reports corrupted memory, attempt a recovery reprogram or reflash bootloader per OEM instructions. If not possible, consider module replacement.
