Diagnostic algorithm

  4. Check CAN bus for lost frames, shorts, or high resistance. Repair wiring faults and retest communication to all relevant modules.
  5. Use the diagnostic tool to confirm whether the smart accelerator/engine module reports a token or pairing entry. If token is absent or invalid, check module programming/version history.
  6. If a module was recently replaced or updated, confirm it was coded/paired using the manufacturer's security programming procedure. Perform module pairing/reprogramming where required.
  7. If the module reports corrupted memory or failed software, reflash/reprogram the module with the latest authorized firmware and ensure programming completes without interruption.
  8. After reprogramming or pairing, clear codes and perform a road test to confirm normal throttle behavior and that U2507 does not return.
  9. If steps above do not restore token/pairing, escalate to module replacement only after verifying replacement module can be programmed with manufacturer tools and security access.
  10. Document work and advise that repair may require dealer-level security access and proprietary programming equipment.
