Electronic instrument cluster row 2 switch circuit
Causes
- Open or shorted wiring between the Row 2 switch and the instrument cluster
- Faulty Row 2 switch (mechanical or internal electrical failure)
- Poor or corroded connector pin(s) at the switch or cluster
- Bad ground or supply to the instrument cluster
- Water intrusion or contamination at the switch/connector
- Faulty instrument cluster input circuit (internal cluster fault)
Symptoms
- One or more Row 2 buttons do not respond or work intermittently
- Related functions controlled by Row 2 switches fail or behave unpredictably
- Instrument cluster may show a fault message or illuminate a warning lamp
- Stored B1210 code and possibly other related body/cluster codes
- Possible loss of illumination for those switches

- Visually inspect Row 2 switch, connectors and wiring harness for damage, corrosion, or moisture
