  5. Backprobe the control pin while commanding the shutter B open/close with a scan tool; verify a switching/PWM signal or change in voltage. If no command signal is present, suspect wiring or module output.
  6. Measure the resistance of the actuator motor/coil at the connector. If open or out of spec, replace the actuator.
  7. Perform a continuity check from the actuator connector to the controlling module connector to confirm no open or high-resistance circuit (repair any broken wires or corroded pins).
  8. If wiring and actuator check good but no proper module output, inspect module grounds and power supplies; consider module replacement only after wiring and actuator confirmed good.
  9. After repairs, clear codes and verify proper operation by commanding the shutter through multiple cycles and re-checking for stored codes.
